Rosie Update...

Just a little update...

Rosie had her surgery a week ago and it is obvious how much better she feels. Its hard keeping her immobile. The doctor said he wanted her to be as still as possible for 4-5 weeks. Try getting the message through to her, good grief! She'll get her stitches out in about two weeks, so far she hasnt seemed to care much about them. She is a bit funny looking with a big part of her hair missing, but she is as sweet as can be and is really into snuggling all of a sudden. Maybe she just needs a bit more "mothering", you know how we all are when we arent feeling so hot.

As for Elphie, she is doing great. I got a call from her new mom who said she couldn't be more pleased. Elphie has really settled in, loves to run in their back yard and has made friends with their neighbors dog (through the fence). All my fears of her not being able to leave us are thankfully not an issue. Aside from the first couple of rough days, she seems to have found a terrific family to join. The peace this has given me is immeasurable!

The girls seem o.k. too. Our main focus these days is to get Rosie well and get back to a regular routine. Its been a bit chaotic that's for sure.

It's probably way beyond my budget, but I am curious about the spinning wheel price. I'm so glad that Rosie is improving. Our fur-babies are so important to us.
